What was really good about the experience?
Had never been to Cambridge and not heard much of ARU before, I didn't have any expectations. The university accommodates students' every need. The teaching is authentic and rich whilst the experience as a student living away from home in a constantly social environment is memorable for the right reasons. Accommodation at CB1 is well worth the money.

What could be improved?
The location is a bit off. As a commuter I faced walking down Mill Road every day. The buildings are dated - inside and out and while the facilities may seem satisfactory, they could be improved significantly to enhance teaching and learning. The use of overhead projectors seem unheard of anywhere but ARU.

sports facilities, and accommodation needs to be provided for first years regardless of if they put it as an insurance place

What was really good about the experience?
I found the lecturers extremely helpful. We were always provided with lecture notes- something which other universities do not offer their students. I felt i was given very clear guidelines about essay structures and exams. All in all, i am extremely pleased with my experience at Anglia Ruskin University.

What was really good about the experience?
Just finished a large refurbishment of the mian building. Now all nice and modern with lots of study space. Also the Aspire scheme is brilliant with a £500 budget for books and stationary etc given to each student, each year!

What could be improved?
Several of the lecturers simply cannot work out how to use some of the uni's new technology, this leads to confusion in students as we have loads of different ways to a) hand in work and b) take exams.
