What was really good about the experience?
It's a very safe and beautiful place, with great transport links. The buses are rather regular, and they run nearly up to 3am in the morning on campus. It's a lovely walk down to the city, or you can cycle up and down hill if you like! Security is just amazing, within the university and the city. Police are on regular patrols to ensure safety and you don't have to be afraid of going home late. Staff are very supportive in your academic learning as long as students ask for help. The modules are very well coordinated as different modules can be giving various perspectives on the same topic. It builds a good foundation in the first year. Lectures are interactive and practical as it seeks to polish critiquing skills, which is fundamental in research. There is a range of lecturers from various backgrounds, with diverse research interests. It's hardly limiting at all! Facilities on campus are very comprehensive, ranging from arts to sports. Sports can be rather expensive because Bath is quite established in this area. However, there is a plethora of extra curriculum activities to get plugged into! However, Bath city is inevitably a World Heritage Site, so shopping here is expensive too. The 24 hour library is just amazing. You can practically hit the library anytime for your resources, and request/recommend resources you find helpful for your course. And you can look forward to many areas of interest for placement to enhance your employability and hone transferable skills. It will be challenging between theory and practical as you head out to work, learn to work in a team but it's going to be great! Many international students from all over the world, which is exciting as you exchange cultures and build on these friendships across the globe

What was really good about the experience?
Bath is an excellent university for economics and related subjects. The lecturers are very helpful and accomodating with any problems. It is a relatively small uni. with excellent facilities, that is ideal for those who want FOCUS on achieving a good degree and having fun.

What was really good about the experience?
Sports facilities are good and the new students' union is a massive improvement. There is a lot of choice regarding sports clubs and a wide mixture of courses helps the mix of students. The city is a very atractive place to live.

What could be improved?
Relationships with international students are not the best. Halls are becoming increasingly expensive and the lectures can be quite standoffish. Help is not always available. The value for money regarding the course is not brilliant. No performance analysis in the course. The SU has helped but entertainment can be lacking and the set up of the sports clubs can be quite amateur. Future increases in sports fees are problematic!
