Programme features

This unique programme, the Accelerated MBA – the first of its kind in the UK – has been created for the most highly motivated and committed students, offering them the chance to complete the Bradford MBA in a shorter time period than the normal 12 months. We have a cohort of up to 30 students who work in study groups of five to seven.

The programme begins in January with a week-long induction, designed to accelerate your learning and get those who may not have studied for some time back into the way of learning. The programme consists of core modules that provide the fundamental knowledge of management principles and theory and advanced modules that build on this knowledge to provide a wider understanding of specific topics that have been identified as essential and relevant to the contemporary commercial world. The practice of sustainability is an important ethos at the School of Management, and this forms a major focus for the whole programme.

The programme uses a variety of learning and teaching approaches, including lectures, case analysis, group work, individual and group problem solving research. Modules are also delivered in variety of ways. Many of the modules are provided in a block-week format solely for the Accelerated MBA students, whilst others are held during the day or in the evening with our full-time MBA and Executive part-time students. In this way, you will experience the full benefit of networking with a fantastic mix of managers and professionals with diverse backgrounds and cultures from across the world.

Part-time Dubai MBA

Accreditations: AMBA, EQUIS

Programme features

The Dubai MBA programme begins every September and runs for 24 months. Each module is taught on a block basis over three days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This reduces the number of work days needed for study. Blocks run every 5–6 weeks, with a longer break during the summer. Teaching typically takes place between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

Our Dubai location is Knowledge Village in Dubai Internet City. All teaching is undertaken by Bradford's experienced faculty, who fly in to teach each MBA module. We do not restrict ourselves to teaching the Dubai MBA onsite. Each module is introduced with pre-reading exercises. Students remain in contact with tutors and other students and have access to all sorts of information through our virtual learning Blackboardsite and highly comprehensive on-line library. Assessment is typically through an individual project on a topic which can be applied directly into the workplace. Please request our full information pack for details of current Dubai MBA programme timetables:

It involves using distance learning teaching materials with remote supervision from the course tutor, principally by email, and for which the attendance requirement is limited to examinations either at the end of the module or at the end of the academic year. However, contact with other managers and staff is an important part of the learning process and this is done throughout the programme via email and the Virtual Learning Environment.
