Some of the best universities in Coventry
- Town-gown relations are generally relaxed, and entertainment is in plentiful supply. Students from the two universities rarely cross paths. Warwick's tend to stay on campus and prefer Kenilworth and Leamington Spa for off-campus accommodation, although more are now seeking homes in better-value areas of Coventry like Stoke and Earlsdon. Coventry's students make the most of the city centre, which complements their own sports centre and students' union.
Getting around
- There is a good bus service with special student rates between the city and Warwick University. The area is good for cycling and walking.
- London is 86 miles away, and trains take 1 hour 15 minutes; Birmingham is less than 30 minutes away. Birmingham International Airport is 20 minutes by train. Coventry airport also provides passenger flights to many European destinations.
