The Leeds MBA Core Programme covers the fundamentals of business management in ten modules, providing a solid foundation in management and leadership. List of Core modules:

• Strategic Management
• Organising and Managing for Performance
• Human Resource Management
• Managerial Economics
• International Business
• Marketing Management
• Operations and Information Management
• Corporate Finance
• Business Accounting
• Global Business Challenges and Responsible Management

In addition to the core programme the Leeds MBA includes three option modules that allow students to customise their MBA in line with their own interests and career goals.  Read more about the Leeds MBA options >

The Leading Change module allows students to develop skills in this key area of management and includes:

• The New Venture Challenge
• The Boardroom Challenge and
• The Company Consulting Challenge.

The MBA Project, undertaken in the third semester, provides students with the opportunity to work with an organisation on a live management issue.

The MBA Career Wise Programme is integrated into the MBA, enabling students to develop their own personal development plans and to provide key development skills.

Beyond the classroom , the Leeds MBA international study tours (to countries such as Brazil, China, France and Germany) are designed to enable students to experience first-hand what it is like to do business in other countries. 

Business speaker events such as the Corporate Wisdom and the FT Masterclass speaker series also provide opportunities to extend learning into the corporate world.
