The Oxford Brookes MBA develops your career by building on your professional and managerial experience, drawing from the different cultural experiences of the MBA group. The emphasis is on leadership, strategic thinking and issues of implementation. We develop and combine your powers of critical enquiry with practical insight.

We also offer you the chance to participate in an overseas event which exposes you to a range of challenges and issues facing businesses operating in different markets. You may also choose to take an elective offered by one of our partner business schools. We currently offer opportunities with Grenoble Ecole de Management in France and Steinbeis University in Germany. These opportunities allow you to spend time in a different country studying alongside MBA students from another programme, further developing your personal network and gaining new insights and perspectives on business and management in a global context.

Part-time Executive MBA

Programme features

Our Executive MBA looks beyond the programme and focuses on the individual, and students are offered ongoing executive coaching, which begins during the programme and continues beyond it.

Learning materials facilitate offsite learning, and you benefit from extensive face-to-face tuition and student interaction at the weekend workshops. The Business School library is available to you during normal opening hours, and the virtual library is available online.

Materials for assignments and dissertations can often be sourced from your employer, and your consultancy project can be tailor-made to meet their needs.

You can participate in international events, including an overseas workshop, which exposes you to a range of challenges facing businesses in different markets. In addition, you can take an elective at one of our partner business schools as an intensive one-week block in another country.

A special feature of the Oxford Brookes MBA is the option to carry out a consultancy project instead of a dissertation: you apply your learning and skills to a real business issue facing an organisation.

Distance Learning Global MBA

The distance learning mode of delivery on the Global MBA does not compromise the quality of your MBA experience. We bring the University to you, and provide you with a virtual learning environment that is both challenging and supportive.

Global MBA students have the opportunity to join an overseas trip to one of our partner institutions. This is a chance to join the Full-time and Executive MBA students to network and share experiences and to work on group projects in another country, further expanding your global business understanding.
