The Royal Holloway MBA programme has been designed on a modular basis. Each course consists of a concentrated period of study covering two two-day blocks. Each week you will intensively study two different courses, which effectively allows you the time required to tackle each subject in depth.

Our MBA programme is purposely structured to allow you to work closely with your fellow students, allowing you to explore and develop your teamwork and leadership capabilities.  It is important to understand that the workload is very intensive and demanding, and that we have high expectations of all our students. 

The programme is challenging and contemporary and contains sixteen compulsory courses. These compulsory courses include twelve 'core' courses including a dissertation and business consultancy project, and four elective courses.

Designed to provide you with specialist knowledge of international business, this programme in International Management has been developed by academics within the School of Management at Royal Holloway, University of London. The flexibility of this distance learning courses allows you to fit your studies around your home and work commitments.

Royal Holloway's particular strength in international and comparative business research means that you get a truly international perspective, rather than one that is solely relevant for one country. The wide range of electives allows you to build a programme to meet your career objectives. This programme will help you to:

  • Understand and apply the core subjects of management in an international context.
  • Acquire specific expertise in a range of subjects (electives) that will broaden the scope of your learning in international management.
  • Enhance your ability to think strategically and understand the essentials of business and organisations in order to manage change more effectively in the global business environment.
  • Through the Business Research Project, to develop the ability to undertake independent business analysis and to frame solutions to complex business problems.
  • Improve your skills of self-discipline, reflection, analysis, communication, and leadership.
