What was really good about the experience?
The University of Sheffield - it chose me and I love my expereince in here and if possible I would want to live here. The main factor for me was the friendliness of the people of Sheffield and the feeling of home I felt when I was in Sheffield. The University is an open campus University within the city and accommodation not being far from the campus. Also the accommodation is fairly cheap/affordable and I can easily get all my essentials within minutes. The Union is the best which gives a really good social life and experience into other cultures due to its inclusiveness. The facilities here are very good. Transport is the cheapest in all of major UK cities (50p for a bus ride with the University Card) and it is also highly reliable. Nothing is too far from the University or the City. Travelling to London only takes me 2hours and 7minutes. I can go on about how good the expereince is but in simply - sheffield is friendly and welcoming.

What could be improved?
The sports facilities have been improved and these can be further improved. Have more access spaces (prayer rooms, silent/contemplation rooms) Variety of food choice and also reduce the price a bit more :D

What was really good about the experience?
I graduated from Sheffield University in 2007 and decided to stay in the city to find work. I really enjoyed my time at the university, there was a great deal of activities both socially and extra-curriculum. I became involved in the theatre company which made me feel part of the union and university as a whole. The accommodation has improved dramatically since I've been there- I lived in some really grotty flats, they have long since been knocked down thankfully. The Union has also improved a lot, it was great when I was there but from the look of it now it's even better. I still sometimes visit the wonderful Interval bar where you can find a mixture of students and staff from the university. The garden is one of the nicest in Sheffield.
