History

  • The Information Commons – various clever design features reduce the building’s environmental impact.
  • Jessop Development – a new centre for Arts and Humanities. Jessop West is a brand new building which will house the Department of History, the School of English and the School of Modern Languages as well as a new Visitor Information Centre and café. The Department of Music will move into the refurbished Jessop Building and the Soundhouse, a uniquely clad building which will house ultra-modern practice studios, rehearsal rooms and recording facilities.
