History

Location and Transport
- Situated on Oxford Road, Manchester's cultural corridor, 1.6km (1 mile) south of Manchester city centre and on ‘the busiest bus route in Europe'.
- Manchester is at the centre of the most comprehensive motor and rail network in the UK. It is a major motorway hub and recent improvements on the West Coast mainline plus a rebuilt Piccadilly station mean that rail travel to and from the city is now a pleasure.
Accommodation
- 316 places available in College's own Hall of Residence. Costs in the 2008–09 academic year are £90.50 per week inclusive of utility costs. Additional catering package available for purchasing meals through RNCM's own catering outlets. Local rents range between £60 and £120 a week.
- Manchester is a city in which you can live relatively cheaply. Living costs are comparable with other major UK cities in the North and considerably lower than in London and the South.
