What was really good about the experience?
Sunderland has a really good mix of people. Everyone is friendly and you're going to make lots of new friends. Everyone is equal at Sunderland. The facilities for Pharmacy were brilliant and although the area could be improved I do love the uni campus.

What could be improved?
For a uni that seems so focused on sports it has very few sports facilities although that may be due to the decent facilities in the area however these are a distance away.

What was really good about the experience?
Lecturers are really accessible and you aren't counted as a number but more as a person. They reply to emails pretty much immediately and are really supportive. The library facilities have improved a lot and are 24 hours, which is really helpful for last minute deadline work ;). The city itself is a really nice place to live and probablu has some of the nicest people you could wish to meet living in the North East of England. The City and University both have strong links with other key cities, Durham and Newcastle, and public transport to these places runs frequently. Sports facilities in Sunderland are top quality too; the university has its own brand new sports centre. There's europes former largest indoor sports centre in the centre of town and an olympic aquatics facility in the city.

11% of unemployment in the area does not provide any opportunity for jobs and if any, they are mainly designed for locals with 'connections'.
