Entry requirements for meteorology degrees

Do any universities offer meteorology degrees for A levels in Physics, Geography and Biology (i.e. not maths)?
Answered by Alison Patterson
You can use our course chooser to start you off. The list of Meteorology degree courses is at

You need to click on the individual courses to check the entry requirements.

As you'll soon find out meteorology course providers do prefer their candidate's to have a mathematics A level. But as the entry requirements state, this is preferred. Your A levels do sound relevant and as though they would provide you with the right sort of skill set. But certainly don't take our word for it.

It's well worth getting in touch with the relevant universities to see if they'll consider your application, you may find that you'll be in with a bit of luck. Don't send off applications without having done this.
