Do you pay tuition fees with your PGCE bursary?

Hi there. I am British, and wish to do a PGCE in Biology. It seems I am eligible for a £12,000 bursary for the year...Can I choose to take out a further student loan to cover the £9000 course fee?
I am a mature student, so already have quite a large loan, is there any possibility they will refuse to allow me further credit?

You apply for the tuition fee loan, the academic department admitting you to a PGCE will administer the bursary. So yes, you can take out a loan on top of your bursary.
