Transferring from one university to another

I am writing to you to ask you about the possibility of transferring from one university to another.

I am originally from the UK, however 5 years ago I went to South Africa and volunteered for 3 years out there where I then decided to start studying social work. I have now completed my second year at The University of Cape Town, where I have recieved an enormous amount of experience and knowledge, however I feel now that I am ready to come back to the UK. For this reason I am writing to ask if it is possible to transfer to a university in the UK to complete my social work course for the final 2 years.

I would also like to enquire about the application deadline for 2014.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

All applications to undergraduate degrees are online through UCAS at www.ucas.com. You will find all the deadline dates for application there. You will also find a Course Search facility.
In your case I suggest you contact a few universities you are interested in to explain your circumstances and ask if you would be able to transfer direct to second year so that you know before applying how your application is likely to be viewed.
Good luck
