Can I change my insurance choice to firm choice?

I have a conditional offer for university A and have put it as my first choice. My insurance choice university B has given me an unconditional offer.
I have changed my mind and would prefer to go to university B but I have already chosen on my ucas application. Can I decline the initial firm choice?
Answered by Alison Patterson
If you are certain at this stage that you wish to accept the Unconditional offer from your insurance you should contact that university and UCAS and formalise the situation now. It should be possible to do this with all parties' agreement. Just be honest with your firm choice university and remember they don't want students at their university whom do not want tot be there.
