What business courses are geared towards a career in Engineering?

I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. I am looking for a business management postgraduate programme at a London university that is geared towards a career in mechanical engineering and contracting. Please advise where I should start searching for this kind of course, and if you think going for a regular MBA would be a better choice.

I've searched CUG's course search for Engineering, MBA, London and found just one course (www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/courses/searc...g). However, note that there are masses of engineering courses to choose from. From a Google search, King's College London offer Engineering with Business Management, as do Brunel, Imperial, and London South Bank (as well as other institutions around the UK). I would advise looking at the course content for each, and picking out those that particularly interest you. Contact the universities and check on entry requirements and fees.

As an alternative, contact the Institution of Mechanical Engineers for advice (www.imeche.org/).

The choice of a specific Masters or an MBA is down to what you want to do in the future, and which courses will give you the knowledge, specialism and experience you want.
