Reapplying to uni after first year

I've just finished my first year at the University of Leeds, and I'm having ddoubts about the course. Is it possible to withdraw from Leeds and reapply through UCAS for 2016 entry for a similar course?
Answered by Alison Patterson
It is possible to re-apply if you are not in university. Your UCAS form will declare a second application, but this is not necessarily a negative.
Have you spoken to your tutors at Leeds? Did you pass your first year exams? There could be courses that you could transfer to in Leeds without another UCAS application. If you did well in your exams you may be able to transfer direct to second year. And the same thing applies to other universities. Phone a few and ask if they would consider you as a direct transfer.

I would start with Leeds and the possibility of a course transfer within the university.
