AS Level results impact on Accountancy career

My son achieved at AS-level the following results: History A, English Lit B, Sociology C and Maths U. Will his application be affected by the Maths result? He wishes to be an accountant and intends to resit the Maths aspect at AS level again.

He needs to talk to the school and take advice from them. Does he plan to take a degree in Accountancy or train after university?

I think that if he has a good GCSE in Maths he may be OK. If the AS results are not certificated the U in Maths will not go on the UCAS form. But this is a matter for the school to advise you.
