Living at home

Do tables or other summaries exist of the proportions of students who live at home/locally and commute daily to study?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Hi Andrew,

We are not aware of anything like this. Living at home is in HESA data but we don’t recall seeing it published anywhere; living locally is problematic in terms of definition and we would have thought that all students commute pretty much daily regardless of where they live unless they are part-time or distance learning.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
CUG
