Deferring because of coronavirus

Apr 2020

Can I defer my place to start in 2021 instead, to miss coronavirus disruption?

CORONAVIRUS DEFERRING
Answer

You can ask to defer your place, the policy remains the same. Universities are planning to start the academic year as normal in September, and some are encouraging students to hold on in the hope that September starts will run as usual. But they'll understand if you don't feel comfortable committing during the current climate. You can refer to the university you're planning to go to for information, and see our advice on deferring.
