Deferring after making a firm choice and setting up student finance

I have accepted a conditional offer from a university, but I'm still not sure whether I want to go. I am considering deferring my offer, and I know that I can probably do this if I call the university. However, the student finance deadline is coming up and I don't want to miss out if I change my mind.
If I sorted my student finance, could I still defer/cancel this if I did decide to defer my place at university?

Hello Chloe,

Yes, you can do everything at the last moment.

It's best to put everything in place now to maximise your options, then concentrate on your exams for the next few months.

When you receive your results, you may feel completely different to how you feel now. You will be able to re-assess the situation and decide whether to use Adjustment, Clearing, take a gap year, or use the offer.

Good luck.
