Entry requirements for international students

Hello, I am graduating from an American International School this year, but before this I was studying in Russia.
When searching for university courses, do I need to look for requirements as a US student? Also, do all of the UK's universities look for AP exams from US students? Is it possible to get accepted into a foundation program, for example, Law, in some universities without having any AP scores, and then get accepted to a university after doing a foundation programme?
Thanks in advance.
