Entry requirements for Engineering

Are there undergraduate Engineering courses available that accept a Use of Maths A level as an alternative to a standard Maths A level?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Hello,

Maths is generally regarded as an essential subject. I suggest you write to a few universities asking the question. You need a definite answer as it is important not to waste UCAS choices by applying to universities for which you are not qualified.

Use a course search as a quick way of looking up entry requirements and finding contact details:

search.ucas.com/search/providers?Vac=1&AvailableIn...2

Click on each course, then on entry requirements. Contact information is on the summary page for each course.

You might qualify for admission to a Foundation year and this is worth looking into. You can use a course search on our site:

Good luck!
