Last minute deferred entry decision

I have accepted a Conditional offer to study in September 2016. However, I have recently decided that I might not want to study this coming September, but instead defer until 2017. Would it be too late to ask for a deferred entry once I have received my results in August, even though I have not ticked the deferred entry box on my UCAS application?

Hello Molly,

Once you have made up your mind, you should contact the university immediately. they are under no obligation to transfer your place form 2016 to 2017, but it's worth a try and if they are able to fill your place for 2016 they may be willing.

Phone them asap.
