What to do on Results Day?

Is it worth trying to get into my firm offer through Clearing if I don't reach the offer they gave?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Hi Tom,

On Results Day you will hear first thing from your CF and CI universities through UCAS Track and by email.

Wait and see. They may accept you even if you drop a grade and don't make the conditional offer.

Universities' decisions are likely to be final based on your exam results. You can try contacting them but they will have a fairly clear picture of their admissions as they get your exam results a few days before you see them.

You will have to decline your offers to go into Clearing. This is a gamble, of course, and we would advise you to think very carefully and to take advice from school, parents etc.

Good luck!
