Do you pay fees out of the student loan?

We have the finance sorted but how do the tuition fees get paid? Do they take it out of the student loan?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Hi Fiona,

The student can take out two loans: one for the tuition fees and one for living costs. The tuition fee loan does not go to the student; the money goes direct to the university to cover the fees.

Hope this helps,
