PGCE and student loan

I was born in England, moved to Ireland when I was 5. I have recently got an undergraduate degree and am planning on doing a postgraduate in the UK. Would I be eligible for a student loan?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Hi Patrick,

If you apply for the PGCE, you will be eligible for a £9,000 tuition fee loan. If you can provide evidence that you have lived in the UK (child benefit documentation, NHS records, school records)you may also qualify for a maintenance loan.

Call SFE EU desk on 0141 243 3570 for clarification.

For application to PGCE, look at:

Good luck.
