If you're living abroad temporarily and unavoidably because of a parent's employment, it may be possible to argue that your ordinary residence remains the UK. Universities make the final decision based on the guidelines, case law and the information supplied by you. They'll only make a determination after an application has been received and an offer made on academic grounds.
