Can I still be offered a place after being rejected ?

If I have been unsuccessful for a university can I still be offered a place if someone who was offered a place decides to choose a different university?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Hello,

You should contact the university direct (by phone) and ask for feedback about your application, reasons for rejection and whether they would consider your application through UCAS Extra or Clearing.

It may be that you do not meet entry standards, in which case you may need to resit exams.

Best of luck,
