Results better than expected?

I have currently chosen to do Law at De Montfort University and they are asking for 120 UCAS points. I didn't do as well as I thought at AS level but at the rate my grades are going I think I may be able to get ABB. If on results day I get better than my accepted grades can I decline my offer and see if I can get a place at a different university who require higher grades, through Clearing?
