Credits vs UCAS points

I graduated in 2001. I wish to retrain as an ODP at the university of Surrey and have been advised I need 15 credits. Are credits the same at UCAS points? I don't want to do an access course as I have a degree already. Can you help please?

Hi Rebekah,

Credits are not the same as UCAS points. You need to go back to the admissions team for an explanation. I am not sure why you do not meet the entry requirements. Ask them asap. You should not take an Access to HE course.

Is your degree in a relevant subject? I cannot find any requirements for science A levels, so it should not matter what the subject of your degree is in terms of equipping you to do the course. They do ask for practical experience, though.
