My son has accepted his offer but has changed my mind on the course - can he change it?
He needs to talk to another university or course to find out if there are places on the course he now believes he wants to study.
If he's taking exams currently, it would be wise to focus on the exams and aim to get the best possible results as his grades will be his passport to a different course. Universities always have places for stellar students, so if he does well in his exams, he'll be in a very good position.
Unless he knows exactly what and where he would like to study and has received assurances from the new course/university admissions team that he can have an offer, I would suggest waiting until after results when Clearing will offer many opportunities.
But the simple answer to the question is yes, if he can find a new course. The change can be sorted out through UCAS.
Good luck to your son in his exam!
