Are universities more likely to reject you if you narrowly miss offer if you have deferred?
Jun 2018I have a conditional offer that I wish to defer until next year. The offer states that the university will take EPQ into consideration if I narrowly miss grades. Would it be better to ask to defer after they have accepted me/are they more likely to reject me if I narrowly miss grades if I request deferral before results?

Universities would not normally make a different decision based on whether you were asking to defer before or after results. It is best to let them know soon, so they and you can start planning. Read more about deferring entry.
