Online courses and distance learning

My youngest daughter is British but was born in Hong Kong and now lives with us in Thailand. I've looked at the costs of sending my daughter to the UK to study and with accommodation and travel costs so high, it makes better financial sense to study online if at all possible. I am enquiring about studying online for a degree in subjects suitable for progressing into an accounting firm such as Deloitte or PWC.
Is it possible to do such a degree online and if so could you please send me information on the costs, and procedures?
Answered by Alison Patterson
I think the issue here is in choosing an online degree with a good reputation. Online bachelors degrees are less common than masters. You need to be able to trust the quality of the product and the degree-awarding institution. We have information about distance and online learning and you can search for distance/online courses. I would recommend the Open University and London International. You should also contact the British council in Thailand.
