IB Results

My daughter will get her results for her International Baccalaureate on 5 July. So, if she meets the conditions of her offer, will she be guaranteed a place at her chosen university without waiting for the A Level results to be published, or can she not accept until the A levels are published on 15 August?
Answered by Alison Patterson
If your daughter meets the conditions of her offer, she will be guaranteed her place regardless of when the processing of results is completed. Strictly speaking, she has entered into a legal contract with her CF and CI universities. Her CF and CI universities will accept your daughter subject to results, and they may accept her if she narrowly missed the exact offer. She should check Track once she has received her results. Read advice for results day. UCAS also have advice about results confirmation and clearing, and a helpline: 0371 468 0 468.
