How do you apply to a UK university from South Africa?

I need information on how a South African student applies for a social work course at a UK university. And what are the requirements in order to be accepted into university?
Answered by Alison Patterson
All applications to UK undergraduate degree courses are made online through UCAS at www.ucas.com
There is a Course Search facility showing (alphabetically by university) all the courses offered.  go to:
search.ucas.com/search/providers?CountryCode=&Regi...=
It is critically important that the entry requirements can be met before picking a course to apply for.  Only four/five choices are allowed on the application.  Write to the university if in doubt.  However, university websites are comprehensive and universities are accustomed to applications from international students with qualifications from around the world, so you should be able to find the information.
I suggest you also check
www.ukcisa.org.uk/
for good advice about fees/funding and studying in Britain.
If your enquiry is about postgraduate admission I suggest you contact a few universities direct giving full details of your educational qualifications.
