How do AS results impact university applications?

I wish to study Management/Economics at university and I have just received my AS Results which were not good at all, ADDD (Economics, Mathematics, Biology & Chemistry). I hope to retake some modules which can change the D grades into C/B grades which will put me in a better stance for A2.

As for applying for university, will I be a suitable candidate to apply this year? Or should I wait until I have better grades?
Answered by Alison Patterson
Universities still make offers to students with lower than expected AS results but you need to be aware that the final grades required at A2 will still be the grades stated at ABB etc.

Best wishes, go for it, but maybe have a couple of courses out of your 5 that require BBC/BBB and around to be more realistic.

Course entry requirements can easily be checked online by going to university websites and on our course chooser: www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/courses/search
