Applying to university with NVQ level 3

Would I be considered for a uni course with an NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance?

I'd like to study events management ideally, but would my NVQ be accepted for such a course? I realise my qualification is unrelated, but I'm wondering if NVQs hold any value as entry requirements for university?
Answered by Alison Patterson
This depends, normally no as the NVQ is not an entry qualification to university. For access to Higher Education, BTEC or A levels are required in most cases.

Ask a few universities you are interested in to see if they allow access with this NVQs and/or prior experience.
