University's legal commitments to a conditional offer when getting a remark?

Student given a conditional offer. Offer achieved after a regrade. Is the university legally obliged to give student a place if the initial conditional offer is met even if the results are delayed by 2 weeks?
Answered by Alison Patterson
There is a date by which results have to be obtained (normally 31st August but you need to check with the University concerned as some may set their own deadlines). If the results were in and notified to the university by then, then yes they have to accept and honour the conditional offer agreement.
