Retaking modules at university

If you fail your first year by failing a couple of modules are you able to retake those modules or do you have to retake the year?
Answered by Alison Patterson
This all depend on the course regulations. If you have failed modules your only option may be to re-take the year, with obvious funding implications.

Most universities allow their students at least one more go at each module.

You need to talk to advisers in the university and read the regulations relating to your course.
