Entry requirements for Biological Sciences

My son finished school this summer - 2014 - with only two full A-Levels (Biology A*; Chemistry B) and two AS Levels (2013 History B; 2014 Physics B) because he changed a subject half way through.

If he applies to university this year for entry in 2015, is there a reasonable chance that he will be accepted by a traditional university to read Biological Sciences or Biochemistry on the basis of his existing results?
Answered by Alison Patterson
2 good A-Levels and 2 good AS-Levels probably would allow your son toe apply for Biological Sciences courses at traditional universities. But we would advise contacting a few universities he was interested in to make sure.
