Is three AS Levels enough to make a competitive application

Is 3 subjects at AS Levels sufficient to make a competitive application to competitive universities? I'm doing well in 3 subjects but not in the fourth.
Answered by Alison Patterson
In theory 3 AS Levels should be enough but it's worth checking directly with universities you are considering for your application.

I recommend you strive to complete 4 AS Levels though, even if the 4th grade is weaker than the others.

3 full A Levels should certainly suffice in your application for competitive universities but again it's well worth checking directly with universities.
