What do I do if the maintenance grant and loan don't cover my accommodation costs?

Do I have to pay the rest of my accommodation out of my own pocket if the maintenance loan or grant doesn't cover all the costs?

Unfortunately you will have to find a way of making up the rest of your accommodation fees if your maintenance loan and/or grant doesn't quite cover it all.

There are a number of ways people cover the remainder of their costs
including parental assistance, commercial bank loans, possibly bursaries and/or scholarships from the university.
