Top Tips for Clearing

Christ Church has introduced a pre-registration scheme where you can apply for the Clearing process in advance. This means all your information is already on the system and on A Level Results Day, they will contact you to discuss your options. This is a great way to save time and ensure you are getting into the course you want.

Christ Church considers each application individually and personal statements and references will be taken into account, so make sure you have your personal statement to hand when you call the Clearing Hotline.

If you don’t achieve the tariff points you need to go directly onto a three-year degree programme, Christ Church also offers foundation year courses in a number of subject areas. A foundation year is the first year of a four year course which provides an introduction, not only to study at University, but also to your chosen subject and offers you a highly supportive environment where you can develop the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding for further study.

Christ Church is guaranteeing Clearing applicants a place in university accommodation (subject to terms and conditions).
