Kent County Council
Kent County Council (KCC) is the county council that governs the non-metropolitan county of Kent. It is responsible for a number of public services including education, transport, strategic planning and emergency services.
KCC aims to turn aspiring graduates into local government leaders of the future.
KCC offers two two-year training programmes:
- Highways, Transportation and Waste
All programmes will require you to take on early responsibility, taking part in a wide range of projects in order to ensure you are fully equipped for the role. KCC will support work towards professional qualifications.

- Minimum of 2:1 in any degree discipline for Management role. Minimum of 2:1 in Engineering, Geography, Transport Planning or related subject for Highways, Transportation and Waste roles. GCSE grades A–C in Maths or Economics and English Language for both.
