Course Summary

This hands-on programme gives you a sophisticated, traditional understanding of the law. And it allows you to put your theory in to practice – engaging with real-world problems and case studies. Learn to think like a lawyer and discover the law for yourself through arguing, writing, and critical thinking. Studying Law at Hull gives you the opportunity to get involved in a wealth of extracurricular activities. The Student Law Society runs an extensive programme of competitions in mooting, negotiating and client interviewing. The flexibility of studying Law at Hull means you can gain specialist knowledge in subjects of your choice and skills that are transferable in a variety of professions - so you have the competence and experience that employers demand. A number of our graduates embark on legal careers as solicitors or barristers, while many use their degree as a springboard for a career in management, business or the Civil Service.
