This two-year fast track programme is designed for people who already have a degree in another subject, and for lawyers from outside the UK who'd like to broaden their education. You’ll study the fundamental principles of English law at undergraduate level. The Student Law Society runs an extensive programme of competitions in mooting, negotiating and client interviewing. The flexibility of studying law at Hull enables you to gain specialist knowledge, as well as transferable skills, highly sought by employers. While a number of our graduates embark on legal careers as solicitors or barristers, many use their degree as a springboard for a career in management, business or the Civil Service. Our strong links with local firms allow for vacation placements, and a series of seminars provided by the Careers Service help you to boost your employability.
