The BSc Economics with a Foundation Year is our Department of Economics’ flagship programme. The four year course blends economic theory with mathematical and statistical elements. This programme equips you with the analytical tools, knowledge and techniques to gain a solid understanding of modern economic principles and contemporary issues. With real-world relevance, our BSc Economics with a Foundation Year is ideal for students thinking about becoming a skilled economist, undertaking postgraduate studies, or pursuing a career in a broad range of economic and financial areas of industry.The foundation year is taught at The College, on Bay Campus. Located next to the School of Management, The College is the University’s pathway provider and offers a unique learning environment; designed to fully prepare you for the final three years of your degree.
