This course will start online and may then continue on campus depending on the latest coronavirus policies.

This course equips you with the academic knowledge and practical skills suited to a range of agricultural and rural sector employment opportunities. Coupled with rural skills training attained through the Rural Skills Centre you will gain practical skills and credibility that will appeal to your future employers. Throughout the degree, you will learn about different farm and land-based enterprises and a range of production systems, how to address the challenges of and realities of sustainable commercial farming, environmental protection and achieve the highest standards of livestock welfare. In your second year, you have the chance to apply and develop your expertise during a 20-week work placement. Our graduates are a testament to the RAU’s track record, with former students who have gone on to carve out successful careers within the agricultural and related industries worldwide.
