GCE A-level: BBC Please note, the above represents an example of how you can achieve the required number of tariff points, however you can also achieve this with other combinations. A combination of A Level and BTEC awards may also be accepted.
UCAS Tariff: 112 To include A Level grades BB or equivalent. Relevant natural and applied science subjects are preferred but not essential. Plus at least five GCSEs at Grade C or Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) which must include English Language and Mathematics.Eligible candidates must provide evidence of study within the five years prior to application.

The Course

Summary

Nursing is one of the most rewarding careers to enter, and more importantly it is a privilege. Mental Health Nurses work with children and adults. As a specialist nurse you will be able to assess, plan and develop individual packages of care designed to provide the appropriate levels of physical, emotional and psychological care for people while meeting the challenges of a changing healthcare environment. This degree enables you to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to help plan, coordinate and deliver care in a safe, compassionate and effective way. As well as understanding the specific needs of those with mental health problems you will gain a broader awareness of the needs of all client groups.
